About Us

Dear Families and Friends of The Arts the Dance Centre,

We are delighted to begin our 59th year of dance.

It is our desire to develop the talents of our students, as

well as to cultivate an appreciation for all fine arts. The

acquisition of poise and grace, coordination, physical

fitness and self confidence is furthered by stimulating the

student’ imagination and creativeness.

Our goals are to encourage all students to progress in

dance while avoiding injury and remaining physically and emotionally healthy.

As important as proper technique is for a dancer,

our primary concern is to care for each person as a unique

individual and then to foster a love for the art of dance. We offer a dance syllabus that is progressive, comprehensive, and age-appropriate for both the recreational dancer as well as the aspiring professional dancer.

All of our teachers are highly qualified from some of the

most prestigious schools in the country and Europe. They

continue learning to develop their teaching skills by

attending educational courses and workshops.

Our state of the art facilities features a specially

designed 3,500 square foot wooden floating dance floor

with radiant heat, observation windows into each of the

three dance rooms, dressing rooms, a homework room and a dancewear store.
